Symbian Limited welcomes NTT DoCoMo’s launch of the FOMA D705i and the FOMA D705iμ which are based on Symbian OS™ and started shipping in Japan today.
Symbian OS is the global market-leading open mobile operating system for smartphones.
The FOMA D705i, a “One-segment” terrestrial broadcasting handset with slim sliding body, and the FOMA FOMA D705iμ, a super-slim straight handset with metallic body, are manufactured by Symbian customer Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and includes the MOAP® platform compliant with the latest FOMA specifications.
