New Apple Retail Stores Opening in Shanghai & Beijing

Apple® today announced that iPhone® 4 will be available to customers in China beginning Saturday, September 25 at 8:00 a.m. at Apple Retail Stores including the new Apple Store® Hong Kong Plaza in Shanghai and the new Apple Store Xidan Joy City in Beijing opening on the same day. iPhone 4 will also be available on Saturday at China Unicom retail stores for qualified buyers with a new two year contract.

In conjunction with their annual Google I/O event, Google has announced the next release of the Android 2.2 platform. Announcing two new sleek and stylish devices: Nokia C5 and Nokia X5

Beijing, China – Nokia today strengthens its TD-SCDMA portfolio announcing two new devices: the Nokia X5 and the Nokia C5 for TD-SCDMA. Customized for China Mobile – the world’s leading operator – these two new TD-SCDMA devices which include the first joint mobile application store, the Mobile Market-Ovi Store, are another demonstration of Nokia’s continued commitment to TD-SCDMA as a major standard in China. Nokia announced it will start to sell WCDMA 3G mobile devices in Korea. The first model to be launched in Korea is the Nokia 6210s.

This is the first time that Nokia will sell 3G mobile devices in Korea.
